TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, booking services, or participating in coaching, classes, or programs offered by The Distance, LLC, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided
The Distance, LLC provides life-coaching services, classes, workshops, and educational programs. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, mental-health treatment, or medical care.

3. Eligibility
Services are intended for adults age 18 and older. Services for minors are only provided under special circumstances and require prior written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Electronic Communication
By using text, email, phone, website forms, or online video conferencing, you acknowledge that electronic communication carries inherent privacy risks and that you are responsible for securing your own devices and accounts.

5. Payment and Refunds
Payment is due prior to services unless otherwise agreed. Refunds are not guaranteed and are granted at the discretion of The Distance, LLC.

6. Scheduling and Cancellations
At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments may be charged in full.

7. Confidentiality
Coaching conversations are confidential except when disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent harm.

8. Limitation of Liability
The Distance, LLC is not liable for decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from coaching.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota.

CLIENT COACHING AGREEMENT
The Distance, LLC

1. Purpose of Coaching
Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process designed to support personal growth, clarity, and action. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment.

2. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to attend sessions on time, participate actively, communicate honestly, and take responsibility for their own decisions and actions.

3. Coach Responsibilities
The coach agrees to provide professional, ethical, and supportive coaching services.

4. Confidentiality
Information shared in coaching sessions is confidential except where disclosure is required by law.

5. Electronic Communication Risks
Clients acknowledge that electronic communication carries privacy risks and agree to use secure devices and networks.

6. Payment Terms
Payment is due prior to services unless otherwise arranged.

7. No Guarantees
Coaching outcomes depend on client participation and cannot be guaranteed.

8. Minors

RISK & RESPONSIBILITY WAIVER

You agree that you are solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes.

3. No Emergency Services
The Distance, LLC does not provide crisis intervention or emergency services.

4. Release of Liability
You release The Distance, LLC and Shawn Meier from all claims arising from participation in coaching or related services.

LIABILITY LIMITATION & NO-SUE CLAUSE
